Welcome to the Citrus Park Community Website
As this quiet little corner of Tampa Bay evolves from citrus groves to a gateway community, our needs (as those who live and work in this community) grow as well. We have marked time watching the pathways that surround us go from dirt roads to the major thoroughfares they have now become. Shopping malls, business centers and neighborhoods stand side by side, arm in arm to create a balance of easy Florida living with the wealth of commerce that is uniquely Citrus Park.

In the coming days, here you will find lists of and links to local businesses, calendars of local events, community bulletins, information about local sports and even some discussion forums where we can interact and keep in touch with one another. In general, within the pages of this website, you will find news and information regarding our humble community here in Citrus Park.

Woodplay of Tampa Bay

It looks like 3-year-old Jake Gulledge of Tampa may have a bright future as a business consultant. His parents, Nicole and Jason Gulledge, have him to thank for their new venture, a store offering safe, high-quality outdoor home playground equipment.

Both parents were looking for a change after successful business careers - Nicole in real estate, Jason in sports entertainment and game operations. Having a toddler son got them thinking of children's play equipment, which resonated with Nicole's home-sales background as well as with Jason's skills as a do-it-yourself handyman. The result: Woodplay of Tampa Bay, which celebrated its grand opening on March 31.
